3-7 years’ experience in solution architecture
Relevant experience on Sparx or similar modeling tool
Strong hands-on experience on using UML standard notation to create solution architectural diagrams
Strong analytical and modeling skills with ability to understand the ("big picture") as well as the detailed views of system from different dimension (conceptual, logical and physical)
Bachelor’s Degree in, Computer Science, Engineering, Information System, Business or related field
RESPONSIBILITIES
Grasp, understand and synthesize documentation available from vendors, SME, architects and system owners, to be able to extract the core elements and artifacts required to be captured into different UML diagrams
Play an important role to translate systems and solutions, that have been already implemented, into comprehensive, relevant and accurate UML diagrams
Understand the solution architecture, identify key architectural artifacts, and document various components of the target architectures and the system integrations in a simple, cohesive, and easy to understand way
Prioritize the modeling tasks and lead the full solution designing and modeling cycle to ensure the alignment of documented solutions with the real implementation.
You will be called to present your UML modeling work items to team members for review and to system owners to get approval and sign off.
Follow governance and guiding principles and Metamodel form Service Oriented Enterprise Architecture practice.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in, Computer Science, Engineering, Information System, Business or related field
Between 3 to 7 years’ experience analyzing, modeling and designing applications and information systems
Relevant experience using any enterprise architecture tool such as: Sparx or similar tool, to create different UML diagrams and architectural artifacts required for designing and documenting IT solution from end-to-end
Strong practice of UML standard notation to create structural as well as behavior diagrams
Strong analytical and modeling skills with ability to understand the ("big picture") as well as the detailed views of system from different dimension (conceptual, logical and physical)
Strong knowledge of concepts, core elements and practices of systems development life cycle
Ability to summarize and express the characteristics of numerous systems and their interactions
Effective creativity and autonomy to gather, compile and analyse information from various sources
Able to deal with a broad spectrum of personality types
Oriented towards discovering, synthetizing and mapping and not being afraid of abstract and raw information, nor complexity of the systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, with high proficiency in English
Effective organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to organize team and workload in order to achieve objectives and targets
Proven influencer and communicator with stakeholders at various levels
Ability to work and develop partnerships effectively with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders in a variety of situations
NICE TO HAVE
Hands-On in practicing TOGAF architecture framework and concept of service layers
Experience in modeling process with BPMN, and good knowledge of ArchiMate standard notation
Comfortable in using script languages, such as VB Script, JavaScript to automate tasks
Focused on continuous improvement, and able to anticipate future circumstances
Participate in cross-domain activities and changes.
Knowledge of transportation industry in general
Knowledge of different organization domains such as operation, maintenance, system development and integration, network, data, application, business, IT infrastructure, support, logistics, etc.
Exposed to Agile methodology and Kanban tool for managing team effort
