WEB DEVELOPER

Nuagem is looking for a web developper to join a fast growing start up. Their team is growing and they are looking for passionate people with exprience in developing scalable web applications using best practices and methodologies. Once your hired you will reporting to the CTO and will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, documenting and deploying web applications in cloud environments. You must be confortable working with a small team.

You must also be able to develop your own components from start to finish.

Responsibilities: ● Participate in architectural and design decisions for applications ● Timely implement new requirements ● Optimize and maintain existing features ● Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Find creative solutions to difficult problems ● Identify inefficient activities and takes ownership towards process improvement. Your opinion counts! ● Research new frameworks, techniques and tools. Have a passion for discovering new technologies ● Communicate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders ● Ability to author technical documents, including design documentation, client-facing user documentation and release notes ● Build and maintain test suites for QA of web applications and tools Desired skills:

Technical:

● Good experience with building client-server web applications in JavaScript ● Experience with React or other frontend JavaScript frameworks ● Expert experience using or developing RESTful web services ● Experience or interest in developing node.js web applications and services ● Sufficient knowledge of good unit testing practices ● Experience with relational databases, with a preferable emphasis on MySQL ● Fluent in HTML5 and CSS3 ● Sufficient knowledge of version control tools like Git ● Strong desire to automate processes for efficiency ● Awareness of web-security vulnerabilities such as CSRF, SQL injections, XSS, etc. ● Bonus - Experience with Webpack, Babel and ES6/ES7 syntax ● Bonus - Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Couchbase or Elasticsearch ● Bonus - Experience with Linux environments ● Bonus - Java web application development experience ● Bonus - Mobile application development experience
