Technology Solution Architect (Windows)

Description of the project:

"In the context of Windows 10 evolution, we are looking for a technology solution architect to help us define the new Microsoft evolution model. This model is introducing major changes for our Technology and Infrastructure Operations and Support groups but also for the application portfolio management group. Our current operating model is not defined to support the new release cadence imposed by Microsoft. We need to change the way we operate, adapt our processes and tools to be able to follow this cadence.

Summary of tasks:

"Lead the architecture tasks for this project. This will involve tasks like the following :

- Identify impacts on the current architecture

- Provide technology guidelines and produce architecture positions for changes to existing capability or for new capabilities required

- Produce solution architecture documents

- Participate in the governance definition

- Participate in the process review and definition of new processes

- Lead in the definition of tools and evaluation of products

- Help the integration group to produce blueprint in line with architecture positions

- Provide recommandation to simplify the tasks to become more efficient at doing device deployment and in place upgrade of OS

Mandatory Skills (Indicate the number of years of experience for each requirement)

"Ideal candidate will have experience in the Windows environment with a wide range of knowledge from a platform point of view (security, management, deployment, application, etc).

This project will cover different aspects and the candidate need to be able to understand the concepts rapidly.

• Windows 10 OS (definition, deployment and upgrade)

• SCCM knowledge

• Operating System management platform like McAfee, Junos, Beyond trust, etc

• Knowledge on how to define a new Operating model
