As a Network Engineer , you will be responsible for the management,
evolution, and continued operation of our global network infrastructure. You will work as
part of a small but growing Networking team, and collaborate with our Automation and
Site Reliability Engineering teams to scale our OpenStack-based cloud solution across
the world.

You’ll be working on things like:
-Automating the deployment of the Network Infrastructure for new data centers
-Documenting every little thing
-Managing firewalls and intrusion detection systems
-Routinely auditing our networks for compliance with regulatory standards
-Monitoring and optimizing network performance
We are looking for someone that has:
-Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or at least five (5) years
equivalent work experience
-Previous experience as a Network Engineer
-Expertise in the TCP/IP network stack is required. None of these acronyms
should scare you: VLAN, VxLAN, GRE, PXE, IPMI, BGP.
-Expert knowledge in both physical and virtual devices used in the configuration of
IP networks (routers, servers, firewall, VPN, etc.,)
-In-depth knowledge of POSIX-based operating systems, as well as virtualization
technologies.
-Familiarity with common security standards (eg. ISO27002). Prior experience
implementing standards is a plus.
-Knowledge of automation tools (eg. Ansible) and a deep-seated loathing of
repetitive tasks is also a plus.
Prior experience on the following will be a significant advantage:
-Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, and ASA devices
-Arista Switches
-OpenStack
-Docker, Mesos, or Kubernetes
